Question:

What do i do? Totally freaked!

I have P.E. in school next year!

I've always hated it because i'm not athletic.

I think i'm fat and so i don't like to play sports.

I would try but i don't want to embarrass myself infront of my whole grade.

I used to kinda be made fun of because i didn't play in P.E. so i thought it'd be better to just do it. But i'm just shy, and it's way worse in P.E.

What do i do??

How can i make it better? For myself in P.E.?

School starts in 2 weeks.

I can't change my class, and i have to participate.

HELP!!!

  1. Start doing Stretches and Jumping Jacks to get in better shape....and who cares what they say about you. I would rather have a A in PE then a F.

Sweety, I know the fear of not wanting to participate in PE, for medical easons, so they found safe ways for me to exercise and meet the requirements of credits.  I did a LOT of swimming in HS.  What was discovered was taht smimming kept me in BETTER shape that just PE class 'prison ball' and 'doing lines' o 'horse running' which would put my heath in jeopardy.  (doing lines is whre you start on a basketball court, an run to the first line, the ree-throw line, and run backk to he start line, then run for the mid-court line and return,etc.)  I enjoyed gymnastics --trampoline is the coolest--since thre were always sotters, and also a training harness to keep you from seriously injuring your self.  If you think there might be a problem that would indicate that you shouldn't do 'normal' pe, the school will work with you and find the right way for you to exercise and maintain a good physical ooutlook.  If not, then possibly you should seek out your conselor at schhol and discuss the matter.  It never hurts to try.  Don't worry, it will all work out

  3. Hun,I'm going to tell you the same thing I was told when I thought that way back in Physical Education(I still think I'm fat and I also don't like to play many sports),if ANYONE bothers you,and says something to you,they can go s***w themselves.

    Don't worry what people say,they aren't you problem,you are there at school to LEARN.

  4. well u have to go to p.e the most important thing is to feel good about urself nd pass dont worry about how good u r at sports nobodys good at everything im sure u wont be the only one who feels this way...if u still feel insecure about ur self u have two week if i were u i wudd get my self reaccuanted with physical activites..nothing big juss jogg/walk for 30 min. or do a couple crunches/sit ups..nd u'll be fine =]

  5. Just laugh at yourself and be the best you can. Nobody said all this stuff except you. So, if no one says this about you, why do you say it about you? Silly, eh?

      

  6. try to exercise as much as you can each day. eat healthy food(not too much junk food like burgers, french fries, candies, etc...) and try fast walking/jogging around your neighborhood in these 2 weeks if you cn. :)

    because that keeps you in good condition.

    to be honest with you, p.e. teachers give you good grades when you put effort in it. just do the best you can and they will understand, trust me. they dont care about how fast you run or how good of an athlete you are. some of my friends are like you and they get better grades than me in p.e.!(im a pretty good athlete but im not that concerned about my p.e. grades. i just do average, not my best)

  7. i had PE every single year in school, i still do, im not super athletic and kids did think so, but i proved them wrong by going out and trying, when you actually try, you will be so surprised on how much you can accomplish, and it doest hurt to talk to your teamates either cause even if youre not the best at sports, you can still make up for it with a happy personality and positive attitude and you may even find more non-athletic people like yourself, so go out and have fun and if somebody goes "hey your making us lose the game" remember that they are taking it too seriously and that its just gym class not a fight for your life, your supposed to get exercise not win everything.
