What do i do about a Mouse problem

My cousin noticed a mouse going under our step in our back yard. what is the best way to get rid of it or them with out chemicals that will harm my 2 year old and 2 dogs???

Get a standard mouse trap that will instantly kill it once the trap is sprung.   Put it out of the way of where your dogs will go, and there should be no problems.  

In response to an answer : No matter which way you catch it I don't think your daughter has to see it if you don't want to show her, and if it is in a sticky trap, i dont think you want to deal with a live mouse.

I think your best bet is a sticky trap. No chemicals, except for the glue, and then you can catch it without your daughter having to see it in a mouse trap that breaks their necks.

Well you can get a humane trap and drop it in water after the mouse is caught. Or get the sticky catchers and they stick to that and you can do with them what you want.
