What do i do about a living space?

I am practically going to have nothing from the house my grandpa left me 50% of due to legal fee's.I am currently living in the house.I have no family or friends to live with, currently unemployed as of a month ago, and am running out of money..one of my friends who said i could stay with her many times before is being scary and saying the opposite now..if i dont make anything off the sale and proceeds of this house i will be left homeless and broke..

Not sure why 50% of the value should be due to legal fees. Do you have a real lawyer or a shyster (OK, hard to tell the difference i know) but that still seems excessive to me.
