What do i do about a nasty restaurant?

i use to work for a pizza hut and the store has become very nasty inside. they dont clean much and the dish tank is never cleaned out. i would like to know who i can contact to do something about them. they dont even get the dishes/pans clean. that can make people sick.

Contact your local Dept. of Health.  They will send out a inspector.  If Pizza Hut has violated the health and safety standards they will be fined and can even be closed.  This is for the safety of the customers as well as the employees.

You can call code enforcement, but honestly pizza hut is a big chain, and people will still order.  By calling a health inspector or code enforcement, the problem will have to be fixed within a certain time frame.  Their are lots of restaurants that have the same problem that you probally eat at and don't realize.  You just never know.

Call the Dept. of Health in your County. There should be a 1-800 Number for it. Try Googling it and watch it being shut down in two days if you say its that bad.

Contact the health department, they will come and inspect the store. If they find something(s) wrong, they will tell your manager/boss and give him/her a certain time (I'm not sure how long) to clean the place up and do whatever needs to be fixed.

2 things you can do - #1 call the health department. They will take issues seriously unless they think you are a disgruntled ex-employee. #2 call another Pizza Hut in the area and ask to get the phone number for the local area director and the number for the corporate office. Tell them that you were a guest in the restaurant and would like to talk to someone about the poor experience. Then make those calls.

First you can call the board of health in your area. They will come to your work and take a look at  your work. Then your boss/manger will have a certain time (I think 3 wks.) to correct the condition of your work, Then the health board will come back and inspect your work area. If the condtions are not made. Pizza Hut will get fined for it
