  1. It doesn't sound like you have a fairy ring mushroom (as previously stated), but it sounds more like an Amenita.  No matter what it is, don't let your puppy eat it.

For the time being, I recommend wearing plastic/rubber gloves and pick up all of the mushrooms that you can see and through them away.  Make sure to wash afterwards just in case.  This will make sure that your puppy won't accidentally chew on one.

As for control, there are a number of different things you can do.  This website gives great infomation on a number of different types of fungi that could possibly be the one in the yard.

For a definite answer on what mushroom you have (in the even that it is not one of the ones in the article), contact your local agricultural or horticultural extension agent.  He or she will know what kind of mushroom it is and if there is some kind of particular method for remove that is best suited for where you are.

    Good luck!

  2. Wat you describe is toadstools and they are poisonous to people and maybe pets .are they on a ring then they are called a fairy ring. Still a fungus.

  3. You can't get rid of them.  Unless they are arranged in a distinct ring don't worry about them.  Just mow them over.  It means your soil conditions are optimal.  If they are arranged in a distinct ring it is fairy rings and there are no treatments for it.

  4. you should call the people who make the roadto remove them for you
