I am so FREAKED OUT! I was laying on my bed on the computer, and the baby was asleep next to me, well i turn to look aat him, and i see a little spider making a web on my pillow to the wall. WTF?!? I clean my sheets every other day...vacuum often under beds and boards and such, don't leave food around, and there are always little spiders EVERYWHERE, they look like baby black widows. we also have roaches IN THE HOUSE, all of the time as well as earwigs. I don't know what to do, I have a little baby, so of course I don't want him around bug spary, but also around harmful bugs! If an exterminator sprays outside around the house, will this make all of the bugs come inside? Is spraying inside harmful? I don't know what to do beyond moving:(

  1. Preventing Spider Problems

There are many ways to make your home less appealing to spiders. If there are cracks in your foundation or around windows and doors, seal them up.

Check places where water pipes and electrical lines enter your house, and caulk any openings.

Keep woodpiles and debris away from your house.

In storage areas, put boxes up off the floor and away from walls. Seal boxes with tape to keep spiders from living inside them. In general, cleaning up clutter will mean you have fewer spiders.

Pruning vegetation away from your house and keeping the area next to the foundation clear will also make your house less attractive to spiders.

Outdoor lighting sometimes attracts insects, which in turn attracts spiders. You can move outdoor lighting away from windows and doors if this is a problem around your home.

    Chemicals Are Ineffective

Using a pesticide is not a good solution to spider problems. "Insecticides will not provide long-term control" of spiders, according to the University of California, "and should not generally be used against spiders outdoors." Inside, "control by spraying is only temporary unless accompanied by housekeeping."

Washington State University Extension has a similar perspective: "Most spider problems can be solved without the use of chemicals."

  3.   Sorry to tell you this but you will never be bug free. The first cockroach you find means your gonna have billions more. Cockroaches will die of poison but the others will notice the poison and will mutate to be immune. Also earwigs will die instantly and spiders will die instantly. Ok here it is go to some hotel with your baby and whoever else lives with you and do this. Buy bug poison bombs from a store near you. Set up 5 bombs around you basement 5 bombs around you upper floor and 5 bombs on the top floor. Set em all off at once and poison will flood your house. Also put one in your car/cars and set them off then you will have dead bugs to clean up and no more buggys YAY YOU! Im personally having an infestation of crickets and beetles with earwigs and centipedes so ill get a bug bomb soon.
