  1. I had this problem & I'm 14. My hair was really greasy yet it didn't look it, only felt it.  I found that I wasn't washing my conditioner out properly & I was using way too much. Try reducing the amount you put on & washing your hair thoroughly.

    Hope this helped, good luck!

  2. use baby shampoo its brill. i use it every day and my hair is so soft and lovely. before i started to use it my hair was really greasy!

  3. Same with me. Go to a salon and tell them that.

Sometimes you need to get you're hair cut and done just washed. Than it's pretty good for a few weeks.

  4. Dont use alot of conditioner

  5. your hormones are probably contributing to the greasiness and the best thing you can do is to keep it clean but dont use extreme measures to dry out your hair otherwise your body will just produce more oil to make up for the oils lost. A home remedy for greasy hair is lemon. What you can do is before you wash your hair squeeze the juice of one lemon all over your scalp and hair and leave for about half an hour. When you wash your hair use something that contains lemon or citrus and use conditioner sparingly.

pleeeeeeeeez dont use baby powder on your hair, together with the oil on your scalp it will start clogging your pores and your hair follicles wont be able to breather properly. rather oily hair that you need to wash twice a day then being bald!

  6. wow. well then you should speak to a stylist or go to a dermatologist or a doctor who specializes in problems with skin, hair and scalp. Try and see if they can prescribe you a medicated shampoo. also remember that puberty plays a large role in how your hair and sebum glands react. sebum glands are in your scalp and they are the ones responsible of producing enough oil to coat your roots and strands in order to keep it soft and supple. Puberty alters the amount of oil these glands produce thereby  overproducing oil and making your hair appear or feel too greasy. try this first though:

    6 tips!:

    1. Use shampoo and conditioner made especially for oily hair

    2. When washing hair, only use lukewarm water, or even cold water. Hot water stimulates the glands in your scalp and makes your hair oilier faster.

    3. You can use talcum powder or corn starch. Bumble And Bumble has a product called hair powder in colours for blondes, redheads, brunettes and asians. What it does is soak up the oil and grease. Sprinkle into your oily hair at the roots and leave for a few seconds, then work into the roots and scalp with your fingers, then comb it through your hair. Hair should be not as greasy, but instead it should be shiny.

    4. The pillow you use can also make your hair greasier. If your pillowcase is greasy, flip it over!

    5. Try an Acidic Rinse. The juice of two lemons mixed with a quart of good water such as distilled water makes a great rinse, and this can really help to reduce the oil on your scalp. Also, vinegar often makes a really good rinse, though it does not smell as good as the lemon! It is better to use white vinegar and if you mix it with one cupful of water, it should work perfectly. The vinegar acts as a tonic for the scalp and it clears any remaining soap away from the scalp, which can often cause oily hair to be weighed down.

    6. You can also make your own shampoo. Add a teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to your regular shampoo [one that's as mild as possible]. It's best to use of a cup of your normal shampoo and blend all the ingredients together. After you have blended it all, wash your hair with it and then rinse thoroughly.

    Good luck with your hair!
