What do i do if i get a theft charge?

I am being charged with theft of an ipod when the ipod was giving to me. And when i went to get it his brother saw me take it. But they have put a statement down that two witness saw me take it. But my only thing is that he gave it to me on tuesday and his sister knew that he gave it to me, me friend, sister, and mom knew after i told them that he gave it to me. So what do i do?

Don't worry. The police are afraid to do anything, especially if you are a minor.

Don't do anything. There's nothing they can do because it was given to you, you didn't steal it. So they can't take any legal action, and your friend who gave it to you and his sister can also be on your side about it.

Don't worry, nothing is going to happen. It was a gift.

What you do is let it go to court as you apparently believe that it will.  It's your word against theirs and if they charge you then you get an attorney and let him worry about it and decide what you need to do.
