I was turning left when the light and arrow was on at a four way intersection. I didn't know there was going to be traffic as i turned, i was stuck in the middle. A cop pulled me over for impeding the flow of traffic. Is it going to be on my record? Can i somehow get it off? This is my first ticket, i have a clean record. Please help if you can! =)

  1. In No. Carolina we can enter a prayer for judgement. To do so you have to present a copy of your driving record to the DA in court showing no previous infractions. Then if you don't get any more tickets for a determined length of time it's a no harm no foul situation.

Contact your District Attorney's office or clerk of court for information on your state.

  2. I got pulled over for the same thing - got stuck behind a bus.  Luckily I did not get a ticket, just a warning.  You can go to court and explain your side, and if the judge is in a good mood you may go home scott free.  However, judge could just as easily say "wait for traffic to clear before entering intersection."  If convicted, it will be on your record.  Probably a 3 point violation in Virginia.  Then you would take a defensive driving course to get 5 positive points, and you'd be even.

  3. it should not hurt your record if you thake one of the  driving couses i rented mine from block buster

  4. Go before the judge and explain. Some are more understanding than others.

If you fail to get it dismissed, ask for traffic school.

  5. you can go to court and try and get out of if.  but if you plead stupidity the judge might send you back to driving school

  6. In  most states, if it's your first offense you can go to traffic school and keep it off your record.

  7. well thats sort of chicking **** of the cop but what the h**l there cops and thats what they do..

dont worry about it, go online and do a driver class and that should keep it off your record,,,in california you still have to pay the fine, pay the court fee and the fee for taking the class but if you have a bad record, it could be worth it.  if this is your first ticket honestly dont sweat it,,,,and dont waste you opportunity and use it on this one.   you may get a speeding ticket or something in the future that you want to go to driving class for and have removed.  in california you can onlly do drivers online classes once every 24 mos. i believe so there you go and hope that helps...
