What do i do if i have a wireless router and i'm getting a better one today?

The router that i have right now is Linksys and i use it for my laptop. The one i'm getting today is Netgear. What do i do with the Linksys router?

  2. I dont really understand the queston. Do you mean do you have to leave t hooked up too? Or can you sell it or what. Just remove it from the modem and replace it wth the netgear and configure your network. Sell the linksys or put t in the closet you dont need it anymore.
