What do i do if i lost my code for sims?

i had to reformat my computer and mow im trying to reinstall my sims but i lost the manual with the code on the back! does that mean i can never play it? does any ine have one i can type in? or does that not work?

according to the EA site you can send them the disc as proof of purchase and $10.00 and they will issue you a new code and mail the disc back to you.  It might be easier to just get a new game.  

Go to the sims.com and you can find the mailing info.

If you are planning on using someone elses key, that is illegal and considered p****y. you can't play the game unless you have a key, so you will have to buy the game again.
