What do i do if my flight tickets dont arrive in the mail by my flight date?

Today i booked a ticket on US air to fly to nantucket on friday morning. The ticket should arrive by maill on thurs. and (maybe friday) considering my flight is friday morning that would not be good. If my ticket does not arrive by mail by the time i leave will i be able to obtain it at the airport? what should i do?

if u go on the internet and get your itinerary number and take it to the receptionist for your ailine they will give you bording passes

Are you sure that they are mailing you tickets? Or is it just a confirmation of your purchase? Almost all tickets are electronic these days.

If you requested a paper ticket, that was not a good idea. No, the airline doesn't just hand you a new ticket if your ticket fails to arrive on time. You either buy a new ticket or you don't travel. You can file a lost ticket application for the original  ticket (for an extra fee, of course) and request a refund.

If it is just a confirmation for an electronic ticket, then forget about it. You can check in using the confirmation number. You don't need anything on paper. If you don't know the confirmation number, the airline can locate your reservation with just your flight number and name. You have nothing to worry about.

If you're not sure, then there is an easy way to tell. According to US Airways' website, they charge an extra $50 to issue a paper ticket and $15 to ship it. If you didn't pay an extra $65 in fees, then it's not a paper ticket.
