  1. if she wants she will take care of them but leave them cuz if u touch 1 and ur smell spreads shes gonna kill them all

  2. they are probly getting milk at night.

  3. Sometimes nature's way just has to get rid of some. She has possible abandon the rest of them, and if she did, there's nothing you can do to help them. It is rare to have a litter over 11, so yeah.

If she wants them in the nest she will roll them into it eventually, or she could be feeding them in shifts and jsut have no room for them all. Unless they die, don't worry, she is caring for them.

You you absolutely have a dire need to move them, don't ever touch them. Get the longest spoon you have and *carefully* scoop them up and put them into the nest with her. However, if she has chosen to abandon them and you push them on her, she might kill all 17 of them. So I really don't recommend this.

  4. She will take care of them if she chooses to.  Some times moms with that large of a litter will not care for the entire litter. (Could you imagain having to feed that many at once).  Leave them alone.  She will move them into the nest if she wants.  If you disturb her, she may kill the whole litter, and not just ones she cant care for.

  5. put them in the nest

  6. she will probably move them into the nest later

  7. Having seventeen at one time is a lot! Your hamster probably knows this & is either separating the weaker ones from the ones that are healthy or she is simply going to put them back into the nest. Watch and see what happens :D Good luck~

P.S. I know you're worried, but it's best to let the mother hamster do what she feels is right. Just don't disturb them too much.
