  1. This is the real John Scatoloni. This post had nothing to do with me. I did not write this at all. My business site was hacked on Wordpress along with hundreds of others in December 2014, and information was stolen and these hackers are using my name to post.

  4. "Too long" is a very relative term.  Just how long are we talking here?  I know some people who never take more than 10 seconds between shots, and some who never take less than 20 seconds.  Different people play at different speeds.  Earl Strickland is a good example of a player who gets very frustrated with what he considers "slow play" and sometimes he lets it affect his own game.  Don't let another person's pace dictate how you play your game.  Now if you mean that your opponent is taking a drink, making a phone call, smoking a cigarette, and putting money in the juke box in between every other shot, then you might have a legitimate beef with them.  If they are concentrating on the game, checking out the table, picturing the shot in their mind, etc., then it's a different matter.  This is going to sound subjective, but if they're still taking longer than 1 minute between shots, then politely ask them if they could possibly pick up the pace a little.  Don't listen to those people who suggest using profanity or other childish tactics.  These are the kind of people who represent what is wrong with pool today.  Anything less than a minute, and I would recommend that you just sit back and deal with it.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  5. You can politely ask them to pick up the pace a bit. If your talkin' about yahoo pool you can set up your room with a timer. If they don't shoot in time you get ball in hand.

  6. take a sip of water for dramatic effect.

  7. Stay Cool, your opponent is trying to rattle you

  8. say hey dude are we gonna fuc*en play or are you just gonna sit there like an as* hole wasting my time.

  9. do the same thing to him, let him know that he just made u boring

  10. Tell them to hurry the f*ck up.

  11. when they finally do make there shot make some kind of distraction
