What do i do if the leaves on my orchid are falling off??

I already trimmed the stem down, like i was told to do. but now that leaves are all turns yellow and falling off. I'm down to 2 leaves and one is not looking good. what can i do to save the plant???

  1. Check the phone book for an Orchid Society, Garden Society, or Botanical Gardens.  Contact any one of these groups and explain the problem.  There will likely be someone who can examine the plant and recommend how to treat its condition.  If none of the above are available, try a good plant nursery to see if they can be of help.

    It could be you've obtained one of the orchids that needs very specific growing conditions that your not achieving.  Most orchids need to have water regularly but not have wet roots.  The potting medium is usually bark, fiber, or loose materials that allow good aeration of the roots.
