  1. If she's too little to be outside by herself, supervise her until she is. Keep her indoors at night.

To the person who said it  is only safe inside, that's just incredibly selfish. You don't want to get upset if your cat hurts so you make them live indoors. It would be safer for you to never leave your house, but you do, don't you? Because it would be SHT to live inside.

  2. let her out

  3. cats like freedom so put in a dogy dore its a cat he wont run away but if u r to scard that he will or she will tie her or him to a leash i know its not the best thing for a cat so make it really really long one but if i where u i would just put in a dogie dore

  4. Easy. Let the cat outside. Cats are not stupid, and she will find her way back home. Cats need freedom, you can't leave them inside all day.

  5. shut the door

  6. close the door!

  7. Most cats dont run away, so let her out.

  8. She's a freakin' animal. It's their nature to go outside. What you gonna do, chain her to the radiator?

  9. The kitten is just curious. Keep a close eye on her. Also you should get her spayed.

  10. let her out??

  11. AWWW, i used to have a calico named Patches...ironically did the same thing... I put a collar on her, gave her flea drops, got her fixed(please get her spayed, too many homeless n abused animals), and let her go out little by little so she could find her way home. If you do not want her roaming outside for some reason, just be extra careful every time you open the door and let others know that as well. Also, if you keep her indoors make sure she has plenty of toys and a scratch post available.

  12. dont let her out thats wut i do

  13. don't let her out.

  14. dnt let her get out!

  15. let her out for just a little while. is it really sparta?!

  16. let her outside for a little bit, jus keep her on a leash. it wont kill her.

  17. Why don't you let her out? I've had cats my entire life and I know the best way to keep them is to train them to go inside and outside. My cat guards our yard like she a soldier haha.

First you have to take them out for short outings into the garden with supervision and keep making them longer and longer. It doesnt matter whether you have a yard or not, they need to be able to experience the outside world.

  18. let her out. just keep your eyes on her. either that or use a a leash, a retractable would be great.

  19. I too had a calico named Patches!  I'm sorry, but I disagree about letting her out.  I've had too many instances of cats going out and not coming back.  There is no "rule" that a cat should go outside.  These days, between coyotes, cars, and other animals, why should she go outside?  Let her sit in the window if she wants fresh air and give her cat grass to chew on.  When she's by the door, squirt her with a spray bottle.  That might help.  I'm sorry, but for those of you that let your cats out, I think it's wrong.  Would you let your child out, roaming around alone?  I don't think so.  Yes, cats have instincts but I think that if they are your pets, or part of the family, they should NOT go out.  Not to mention ticks, fleas, etc.

  20. I had to give up a kitten that I got from a farm because it was constantlyy ripping my screens trying to get out. It wrecked my carpet even after I had it declawed. I don't know if an outside cat can be tamed to be an indoor cat UNLESS they choose too! Otherwise, give him plenty of toys to play with.

  21. If u don't want her out side, just keep her back, but, if you are not around bussy roads or a hostal enviroment, you could try letting her out side,... =] watch out for wolves and things like that...

  22. LET HER OUTSIDE!!

  23. Don't let her out!! I had only indoor cats and gave in to peer pressure from my sister and let my cats out, one is confirmed dead by a neighbor and the other vanished. I lost 2 of my 3 cats who I had for several years and even brought from overseas when we got transfered stateside. If you love your cat keep her in, it isn't safe outside, just ask any animal control officer. I see several dead cats every week in the road or on the side of the road. The Do it Yourself Channel had a great show about building an enclosed outdoor area for cats that attaches to a window and lets the cats outside in a safe environment. Check DIY.com and it will give you the plans, and it was easy to build and affordable too.  I have 2 built on my home now, I will never let my well loved run free again. Only irresponsible pet owners will tell you to let your cats run free, they don't truly care for their pets and are breaking the leash law, it does apply to cats.

  24. let them go outside walk them

  25. same problem with me! just let her out for a little its ok!
