  1. wow, can you say da ja vue. my dads the same way, but fortunatly i only have to see him on the weekends ever since my mom packed his stuff adn sent him back to his mothers. your father sounds like a big baby and yea hes obviously jealous. theres not a whole lot you can do in that situation when hes not willing to act like an adult and at least be civilized. when my dad gets like that i try to just stay out of the way and ignor him. and maybe you should cook your own meals to avoid the other situation then he can't say s**t. and as far as him saying your lazy, one of these days when you have reached your goals you can show him just how bad of a kid you really were.

  2. My daughter is 25 and my ex is jealous of our relationship too! He sounds like a big whiny baby that wants all the attention for himself. The first thing is finding a job, any job. Ask your friends for help or other family members. Anything would be better than living like that.

Work these days can be very hard to find, I've been looking for one for a year now!  Good luck!

  3. Stay at a friends house till you are on your feet with a good job and can pay for an apartment.

  4. Mostly you sound very mature and like you are trying hard, but I have to wonder why med and law schools?  They are two very different things!  By the time you are done college, as you stated, most people know where they are headed and have taken courses to help them on that path.  Pre-med and pre-law classes very, very different.

Also, if you are 22, why do you feel they should "help you get a new car so you can move?"  You are old enough to get your own, or do without.  Many people have moved out without a car before!

Wait for a moment when your Dad is calm,  tell him you don't like the name calling but that you are interested in his perspective on things.

    Good luck.
