What do i do?...my mom says im not allowed to lose anymore weight..but...?

i used 2b very fat,and i lost alot of weight,and now weigh 143lbs,and my mom thinks i have an eating disorder(i dont)

and now,she says tht i cant lose any more weight.

but,i want to get to 135lbs...what should i do?

she really thinks i have an eating disorder,she even called my dad to see if i ate while i was at his house!!

what should i do?..because i really want to weigh 135lbs,thts been my goal

im 15 and 5'5 if tht matters any

  1. Tell your mother that if you had an eating disorder you would be like 80 pounds. Promise you DO NOT have an eating disorder.


  2. Go to the doctor and ask him/her what the proper weight for that height is.

  3. As long as you are losing weight in a healthy way and not losing too much too fast, then it shouldn't be a problem. If you're losing weight by skipping meals or not eating at all, then that's not good. If you're doing it by eating all your meals, but healthy and working out, then she should praise you for your effort. As long as you know when to stop. Congrats on the weight you've lost so far!

  6. There is a scale that some schools use.  At 5'5" I weighed 125.  When she put it on the scale it reached the star(which is what you should weigh for that height.)

  10. just eat healthier and exercise more often, even if its playing basket ball or walking the dog, don't go to a gym though because then she will get the wrong idea.

  11. A person of your height should be anywhere between 135-141 (if you are of medium frame)... if you are of large frame (which you're not), you should be between 137-155.

    Maybe just lose like 5LBS.. perhaps down to 135 is a bit too much for you.. OR be happy with how you are.. at least you're in your weight average.. don't sweat it, you're beautiful sweety!!

  12. Go to your doctor, which should be a pediatrician(?) and see what he thinks. He should give you the MINIMUM weight you should be. My doctor did that for me, and my sisters. Just ask them!

  13. make sure that for your age and height it is safe to reach your goal weight. You will be fine.

  15. Prove that you don't have an ED. If she watches you or ask people what you've eaten, then that's good, because that shows her that you are actually eating.

    Just eat healthy and exercise, like you should do. And don't let her feed you a lot of junk food to make you gain weight if you lose more, because that would be irresponsible of her as a mother.

    Really, there's nothing she can do to keep you from reaching your goal...unless you actually start to develop an ED. Then she can put you in a hospital.

  16. as long as your losing it in a healty way there is nothing wrong with 5'5 and 135 pounds...im 5'4 and 125 and im 50th in percentile for height and weight. so 5'5 and 135 is perfect. ..do wat makes u feel good about urself.

I'm 15 too and i just want to lose like 5 pounds but my mum is like "oh you will feel dizzy", "you should be concerned about your studies" I AM , I just want to look good as well and have confidence! She also got my dad involved and he's always commenting on how much weight I lost! I thougtht they should be proud since they always went on about how much I ate when i was younger!

    Finally i found someone who shares the same opinion as me!

  19. You are not at a huge risk for losing too much weight. You could even be 120. Seriously. I'm 16, 5'8 and I weigh 135. Show your mom a BMI chart, because those measure healthy percentile. You are not really overweight, but it wouldn't hurt to lose 10 or 20 pounds. It's just a matter of health and self confidence. Tell your mom you're going to eat healthy and exercise, so you will lose weight in a safe way.
