  1. So cute! If you take them to the shelter, I am sure someone will love to have such a cute black kitten right before Halloween! Put an orange collar on her to make her look festive! I recommend a safety collar that will release if she gets caught on anything outside.

  2. Unfortunatley the other could be anywhere, all you can doo is keep looking for it around the area you saw it last, if it knows you put food out it is likly to come back.

If it is between 4 and 6 weeks, it's awfully young to be away from it's mother, so look for her to when you're out. You may have to supplement her with a little kitten milk if she's not doing to well on just kitten food.

Ask around the area or put posters up to check she doesn't have an owner before you tryand find her a home, if she's friendly it's unlikely her mother is feral. If you can't keep her and you're in the uk the cats protection league will take her, or put an ad in the paper.

  3. The kitten is very cute.  The other cat could be anywhere, a neighbor may have spotted it and taken it in or took it to the shelter.  Little kittens are very adoptable, if you take it in.  To the other answer about halloween, unfortunately being a black cat that time a year is not good.  Many shelters won't adopt black cats during that time because some people may abuse them.  I think it may be to soon for that though.

  4. You should take her to your local RSPCA (or the equivalent wherever you live). They'll take good care of the kitten, and make sure it goes to a suitable home. If you see the other one about, you should take that one over, too.
