  1. Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

  2. USE SYSTEM RESTORE TO GET BACK YOUR DESKTOP.......

  3. in this case go to task manager - application tab - new task - browse - c:\ windows\explorer.exe (choose explorer.exe) and then click add - apply - ok. This process will definitely work.

    if then process work then reply me on sanjusurana@yahoo.com.

  4. Could be a couple things, but try this:

    Right click on the desktop and select ARRANGE ICONS, then select SHOW ICONS ON DESKTOP.  This may have been changed somehow.

  5. Follow wt UNNIKRISHNAN  has told above.

    Another reason may b dat u hav clicked d "hide desktop icons" button accidently.....Simply uncheck it

    Last but not least...run registry cleaner, deep virus scan n some  good antispyware.

    all d best

  6. If none of the techniques suggested by your friendzz works simply do it

    start->programs->accessories->system tools-->system restore->restore computer to an earlier location->select a latest selectable date->restore.

    remember! some of the softwares installed after the selected date may not work after restore.

  7. when you start up task manager, go to the applications tab and hit the "New Task..." button.  Type "Explorer" and hit ok.
