  1. Assuming you would be the one teaching, it may be a bad idea.  It's spelled Principle.

  2. you knwo what would be a better way for him to do school at home is to have him do an online school its just like homeschooling but he would probably have a better chance at getting into college, go for the state ones their ususally kept secret but ask around im getting into it and ill be graduating highschool before my friends

  3. Look at the law. Do not ask the principal. Why would he know? It's not in his daily line of work...read at www.hslda.org, the laws for your state. And then follow them. Usually it means writing a letter of intent to the school district, not to the individual schools. Some states don't even require that.

    Good luck.

  4. Um, Jessica, FYI, it's Principal.

You need to find out the homeschooling laws in your state.  Some states require a letter of intent, some require you to form a private school (on paper); some require you sign up with an umbrella school, some states you need to do nothing.

Find homeschoolers in your state and ask!  Good luck!  And no, you don't have to be perfect in spelling and grammar to homeschool.

The most important thing in homeschooling is spending quality time with your child.

  5. okay so first it's principal  (didn't you ever learn that the principal is your "pal" to decipher the difference between principle and principal)   ANYWHO---  I feel you should seriously consider what you can offer him as an education before jumping into home schooling.  EDUCATION FIRST!  Are you equipped to teach him 12th grade chemistry or trig??  There are consequences for children whose parents cannot teach them...  For the ones who are blessed to have parents who can make them flourish that is great...  but, I worry about the ones who aren't lucky enough to have that and then end up being 9 and reading at a level suitable for a kindergartner....

  6. It's actually principal, but anyway your spelling and grammar are not important.  There are teacher's manuals, online programs and even DVD's that can help with that.

In order to homeschool your son you need to find out your state's laws:

    http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp

Then you need to go about deciding how you want to teach him and find out what program you want to use.  This site has some info that can help:

You may also want to join a homeschooling support group for support for you and social interaction for your son:

    Good luck!

  7. hi I'm thirteen and i have home schooling, and all you need to do is phone your local education department and they will help you. pulse if you've got any questions about home schooling you can ask them and they will help you.

  8. Are you sure you want to home school him??  I'm looking at your grammar...  it may be best to keep him there...
