What do i do when i have miss my jury duty?

Your summons to jury duty should have included a telephone number for the clerk's office, or other entity responsible for coordinating jurors.  Call that number immediately and explain why you cannot attend (must be for a VERY good reason, i.e., scheduled surgery, immediate family member's funeral, etc).  It also wouldn't be a bad idea to follow up your request with a letter, and ask that they send you something in writing as well.  You may have better luck getting out of jury duty this time if you "volunteer" that you will be available at a later date.

go down, talk to whoever they direct you to, and try to get it switched. when i had to go to it, it was more like i had to sit there for an hour then they dismissed me....
