What do i do with a check that has my name as (under the care of) ?

Take it to your bank, see what you need to do to cash it.

does it belong to you? if yes i would ask the compnay to re-issue it or the just deposit it at the abm machine because those cheques are not checked unless it is a large amount.

Write "for deposit only" and your bank account number on the back of the check.  With 99% of financial institutions, they will deposit your money.
