  1. NEVER ignore "suspected" ear infections !!!   They can become VERY painful and it could run the risk of HEARING LOSS !!!!   Your daughter is worth the time, effort, and . . . .money. . . .to take her to her pediatrician.  As her mother. .  .you OWE her that !   DON'T DELAY !!!

  2. You didn't state how old your daughter is.  If she is an infant or toddler she is probably pulling at her ears.  She needs to see a doctor to be diagnosed.  If she is older you can apply a small amount of peroxide in the ear canal, let it boil out the infection, drain the peroxide-by having her tilt her head in the opposite direction until the peroxide comes out and then put a small amount of cotton in her ear.  Is she running a fever?  This usually indicates an infection and you need to get her to a doctor ASAP.

  3. You should take her to the doctor. They will give her an antibiotic to clear it up and also a numbing drop to help with the pain. Ear infections are so painful. If it turns out to not be an ear infection, at least you'll know.

    Good Luck

  4. Take her to the doctors office. The doctor's usually prescribe an ear drop medicine and tell you how long your daughter should stay home to prevent the infection from spreading to other children.

  5. Here, I like answering these questions, because anyone who has tried including myself the home remedies I found on a website has like them.  I will give you the link to the website.  I hope it helps. If she does have one one of the home remedies might help it from getting worse and even from pain.  Here it is:
