What do i do with my plastic bags?

i dont want them to end up in landfills..i have a pile of them and dont know what to do with them. i am a recycler so im looking for ideas.

I use them to hold yukky  garbage that would leak through paper bags.  This is a perfect use for these items.

i know, its easy ...........you can use reuse the plastic bags as garbage bags for you to throw your rubbish in, or you can use them when you shop , and tell  the cashier that you dont need plastic bags as you had brought your own. :)

Its nice to see that someone cares for the environment and  plays a part in protecting it :)

I place them in the plastics bin at the recycling center.

If you know how to crotchet or knows someone that does, you can cut the bags and make them into a so called ball of yarn (bags) and make handbags or rugs.  That is what I do with my bags.   There are many patterns and websites that you can find this on.  All I did was goggled, free patterns for plastic bag crocheting.

We recycle them.  Some stores have a box for recycling the bags.  If you can't find one, check with your County Conservation Office, they can tell you where to take them.  Check out Walmart also, they may have a bin.

There are deposits at some grocery stores where you can drop them off. Otherwise, put them with the plastic recyclables. Or, hang on to them until you need them.

If you don't like getting endless plastic bags at every store you go to, bring a canvas bag.

my mom puts them in a draw until she needs to use them. but you have to put them in non - recyclable waste i THINK but im not sure.

used it as bin liner ,it dose the job well and if you have too many. you can deposite at the recycle bins ;can be found in almost evry town now.

The local stores around here provide a bin to put the used plastic bags in when you return to do more shopping.

If you can use them again, please do.

Take them back to the store and put them in the recycling bin by the front door. Almost every store has them now.

Then get some reusable bags, you can even use pillow cases. I prefer canvas, but there are lots of different ones.
