What do i do with my winning CA lottery scratcher??????

I just won $800 dollars off of a scratcher that i bought at my local gas station and wanted to know what i have to exactly do with it. It says on the back that i have to mail it in if the prize is more than $600 dollars...how much of the $800 will i actually get??? I heard i have to claim the prize and stuff like that...can anyone please explain this process??? thank you!!

dont mail it. take it to any one of several lottery headquarter field offices in the area. they will take it and give you a recipt. after it is validated and found to be authentic they will pay you.

I work in a convenience as a lottery retailer...the best thing for you to do is:

1) Make copies of your winning scratcher ticket (front & back)

2) Go to any convenience store

3) Ask for a winning form (they will give it to you if you won more than $600 in scratchers)

4) File the winning form

5) Make copies of the winning form

6) Send your winning form to the mailing address on the form

7) Wait for your check & you will get paid soon!

That's the best way to do it...I have had customers do it and they got a big check...one of my customers won $7,777 in a $2 scratcher game...and he did the same thing...
