  1. The Student Aid Report is used to show you all of the answers that you put on the FAFSA form.  If for any reason, you need to make corrections on this information, then you need to send the SAR back.

    If you filled out FAFSA online, and need to make corrections, then you can go to the FAFSA website, log in, go to FAFSA Follow-Up and select Make Corrections to a Processed FAFSA.

    If you did it through mail, and have a paper SAR, then there should be an address provided for you to send back the corrected form.

    Or if you simply did not sign your application before you sent it out, then you'll have to sign the SAR and send it back out.  There should be an address provided.
