Question:

What do i drink before i run?

It is to hot to drink a cup of coffe. Is there a cool drink i can have with water that gives me the same jolt as coffe,that does not make me crash? I drink plenty of water and g2 gatorade,but after a long workday I need a good pick me up.

  2. You should drink WATER. Water is the best drink for you. Gatorade and Vitamin Water are ok, but WATER hydrates you the best

  4. Water, not to much though or you may get a cramp.

    water hydrates you the most and it quenches your thirst, unlike vitamin water or gatorade. flavored water is ok but regular water is the best. though if you want that jolt to perk you up then drink flavored water. it has natural sugar in it to keep you awake but it will have no after effects.

    but i still say regular water works the best but different things work for different people!

  10. Cameron's right.  Water really is the best.  If you're running for less than 1 hour, stick with water.  Save Gatorade and other sports drinks for longer runs that take more than an hour; they're the ones that require you to replenish salts.
