Once you get them, it'll hurt for 3-4 days. Take some tylenol for it. Then, you'll have to go back once or twice a month for adjustment. It's not so bad. you get to choose what color of rubberband you want, if they'll let you. A pre-warning: each time after you get your braces adjusted, there will be a little pain so have some aspirin in handy. Also, you can't eat certain stuff for a while. Ask your dentist what you can or can't eat.

well i just got braces about a year ago, and im just telling you itll probably hurt and feel kind of strange at first, but youll get used to them. make sure to brush them well too, because food gets stuck in them easily.

but theyre not all that bad once you get used to them!!

well  sometimes it will hurt but if you take care of your teeth(braces) then you wont have a problem. Trust me i had braces for 4 years.

Well during the actual process it doesn't really hurt just prepare to have your mouth as wide open as possible for a good amount of time and they just glue a bunch of stuff to your teeth. After that through the next 2 days your teeth will hurt and you will have to eat food such as mashed potatoes or pudding or something that doesn't require that much chewing. Believe me the first day that I had braces I tried to eat an Oreo and then I wanted to shoot myself cuz it hurt so bad. Well anyways after that it doesn't hurt that much but if u chew your nails its gonna be harder once you have braces and I wouldn't suggest chewing gum but everyone does it anyways.

It will take a long time and you will feel like your jaw is going to break from having it open for so long. When it's over, your mouth will be really sore, but I recommend taking lots of Advil, it helps for me. Trust me, I've had my share of mouth pain. Also, you won't be able to eat many things at first, so foods like pudding and applesauce will be your menu.

don't forget to clean the braces.

really bad pain and pressure on your teeth. not being able to chew with your teeth good for a couple of days. cuts in your mouth. cuts on your tongue. annoyance. and   being uncomfortable. good luck

it wont be as bad as u imagine.

all they do is glue bits of metal on your teeth, it doesnt hurt a bit. it takes about 10minutes to get everything done and leave again. they might make ur speech a bit distorted for a while but ull quickly get used to it. they will give you wax to put on ur teeth as well because the elastic bands and metal will scratch at the inside of ur gums and it will hurt quite a bit so get some good pain killers. it will also feel like ur teething (mad i know) and ul feel like wanting to bite everything so have pain killers and any product u can use on ur teeth specifically for teething and ull be okay. u wont be able to chew for a while so cut up food in tiny tiny pieces and avoid food like french bread as it will rly hurt ur teeth. stick to normal bread and stuff like soup until ur teeth heal.

it will hurt for quite a while but it will pass, trust me
