What do i feed my hunter pet in world of war craft?

Right click on your pets picture (it's under your characters picture) and go down to pet details. Look in the upper left of box and it will show you a green smiley face. Put your pointer on the picture and it will tell you what your pet eats. You need to have what it eats in your inventory.

Then go to beast mastery skills in your spell book. Now left click your pet, then click on the feed pet icon (it looks like a doggie bone and says yum on it). Then open your inventory and click on the food item you wish to feed it.
