  1. some stores have baby bird formulas that are good for baby bird.

  2. If it is not with the parents go to the pet store and buy some  KAYTEE HAND FEEDING FORMULA and learn to hand feed it every 2 hours with that. Yes I said every 2 hours, otherwise the baby could very well starve to death very quickly at this age. I would suggest leaving the babies with the parents for them to feed it until it is at least 4 to 8 weeks old especially if you are inexperienced at hand feeding. And never microwave baby bird food. Always use hot tap water.

  3. it should be with the mother

  4. really it should be with its mom but if you want some imformation on lovebirds go on youtube and search stargazrt4 click on the username and then there is tons of videos on how to take care of love birds. You might need to scroll some pages to find the right one though

  5. Exact.  PetCo or just about any pet store that has birds will have it.  It comes with specific directions for feeding according to age.  Breed is of no importance (unless noted in the directions).  I've raised many birds on this brand of baby bird feeding formula.  The baby needs to be fed every 2 hrs.  If you need to feed now, crush up some dried catfood and make a paste, rather watery and feed the baby with a chopstick.  Touch the baby's beak and try to get a "gape" (wide open mouth saying FEED ME!) Very very gently from left to right over the tounge and down the throat just a bit ,get some food in him.  He will die if not fed (they get their water needs met with the food so no need to feed water separately).  Feed the baby about 1/2 tsp every 2 hrs until you can get some Exact and a proper feeding syringe. You have to check the baby's crop (under the beak above the chest).  It will start to expand and should be full but not tight.  Baby birds don't know when they're full so be careful.  Educate yourself before you try to feed him.  The Internet is full of places that have videos, pictures and very good instructions of how to feed a baby bird.  Google "feeding baby parrots" and read, read, read!  Good luck!

  6. I would try very small fishing worms mixed with some small nuts, like half a seed and mush it all up.

  7. Go to a pet shop and get bird hand rearing food i give mine pretty bird food. When feeding be careful not to aspirate the little buggers.

  8. you may need to hand feed them using the syringe, if they cant feed themselves but they do sell baby food at petstore
