What do i feedthe baby cockatiel with?(Read All)?

Well it says that the parents feed the baby but other people say i have to feed it with a stangale thingy soo please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally the parent cockatiels will raise their chicks just fine.  All you have to do is feed and water the parents.

Normally parents feed the baby chick, but hand fed babies tend to have a sweeter disposition to humans in the long run as they look to the human as the "mommy bird."  

To do this, use a syringe and baby bird feed formula that is heated. Always follow instructions, and be careful not to over heat it.

Downsides: Feed the baby from the left side of its mouth or you could get it in his lungs and he'll drown from the feed.  

CROP BURN. Crop burn is caused by the feed being too hot and will cause a hole to be burned through the crop.  The result is horrible as the babie will suffer great pain, and the feed will leak through the crop.  Crop burn often ends in death.

So, its best to let the parents do the feeding, and once it is old enough you may train it to like people.

The only time you have to feed your cockatiel with a SYRINGE is when ur hand feeding  cockatiels. No let the mom feed it. But if u have touched the bird then u have to hand feed it.

No just let the parents feed them especially if you are a novice. You only need to feed the chicks with a syringe if you want to hand raise the chicks otherwise leave it to the parents.

No worries the mom and dad will do all the work, just keep the parents well fed and make sure they get there veggies and fruits! Good luck!
