  1. It wouldn't be the Doctor that would help you, it would be a therapist. Thinking that your fat, even though your not, isn't a Physical thing, it is a Mental thing.

It's not really a sickness, and I don't think your Mom will care. If you don't feel comfortable, for example, say to your Mom, "Can I talk to you privately," or something like that. Then tell her what has been going on. I'm sure she'll try to help you.

If you can't get to a therapist, just keep telling yourself "I'm not fat, I'm not fat," or something similar. Do NOT listen to the people who are calling you fat. They probably just have problems of their own and it makes them feel better to insult other people. Have your friends support you. Just believe that nothing about you is bad.

Even if you were like 300 pounds, it's what makes us different. If we were all like, 100 pounds, that be really strange and bland, don't you think?

Good Luck with everything, and remember, your not fat at all!

EDIT: Please, don't listen to the answer above me.

  2. Your weight of 124 is normal for 5 feet.  You have just a poor self image.  Maybe you're suffering from an eating disorder.  Definitely, tell te doctor how you feel and your eating habits. before it goes ot of hand.

First of all, there is no "perfect weight". Family history and genetics play a huge part in your "ideal weight".

So, you are 5 foot tall. If you were small boned, and your body frame was petite, you may weigh in at say... 105, since most girls that have reached the age of 13 have undergone the puberty growth spurt. If your family's genetics are larger or stockier with a different musculoskeletal structure, your weight may be upwards of 130.

The US Military uses a height to weight ratio to determine physical fitness, along with a few physical tests, of course, but even they have exceptions to the rules of height to weight ratios. This is why they instituted the "tape test" in the early nineties. There were too many body builders in the service that were obviously not out of shape, but were overweight for their heights because lean muscle is far heavier than fat.

I think the question you should really be looking at is not the perfect height for weight ratio, but rather, you should look at the body fat ratio. Young women actually need more body fat than men to be healthy and to support certain body functions, especially when sexually active. Did you know that if a woman becomes pregnant and has less than 8% body fat, she can wind up with complications that can kill both her and the baby?

Our obsession with weight has done more damage to the psyche of young girls in this country than any thing else. Granted, being fat is not healthy, either, but I think that the obsession with a "target number" may be the wrong approach to take. Instead, look at yourself for who you are, and what you look like. Get rid of the garbage that everyone else feeds you about who you are and are not, and think about at what weight and size you are happy. then understand that if you are happy with yourself, what is the opinion of anyone else? It will show, and everyone else will appreciate you more for being happy with yourself, no matter the weight, than they ever could for hitting a target number.

  3. I would say your anorexic and you should tell your doctor because it can lead to very serious problems

    take care

  4. go get yourself a cheese burger, and who gives a flying **** what people think about your weight, I say, unless sitting makes you pant and walking to the fridge is a workout, go for it.

if you;'re worried about health, you'll die quicker if you dont eat, if you're worried about looks, people like you who hardly eat age quicker.  Anorexics age something like 15 years in one, so if you keep it up, when you're 20 you'll look 70.

    have fun with that.

also, because you messed youself up so bad when you do start eating normally your body will store everything it gets. so you're gunna gain like 20 pounds before you get back to normal.
