  1. other then prayer I'd suggest irrigation

  2. outside of an indian rain dance or seeding the clouds

I don't have any ideas on making it rain but hope  you bought crop insurance

crop insurance depending on the crop

pays for too wet, too dry, disease, wildlife, earthquake, excess heat, failure of irragation(due to an insurable cause), fire (ie lightenening not arson or brush fire), hail, frost, freeze, excess wind, floods, cyclones, torando, hot winds, and insects, winter kill, cold wet weather, volcanic eruption and hurricanes, other(ie snow)

    this a federally subsized program

  3. In Alabama, we would say that you're not paying the preacher enough....Praying couldn't hurt a thing in the world however....

  4. Move to Texas or Oklahoma we are having more than our fair share this year.

In all seriousness,  I've lived through many drought seasons on our farm and I know how hard it can be.  Good Luck and God bless.

  5. Pray and have faith.

  6. Attach two 9520s like the one I have in my avatar from the east end of your farm, and pull it far east...

  7. irrigation

  8. yes it's called cloud seeding they use silver iodide crystals

  9. Pray.

  10. install an irrigation system

  11. There are planes that lace clouds with fine particles that cause them to rain.

  12. Well with the natural rhythms of drought and the climate changes brought on by both our civilization and natural events, while you get fried to a crisp, others are swimming down the streets praying for the rain to end. had we curbed our emissions and energy abuses a long time ago it would not have been this bad. I'm really very sorry. I sent off an email to another farmer the other day who, with the rain and floods in England, is on the edge of ruin.

All I can suggest is to talk to your insurance company and see if they will help you open up a deep(er) well to get some emergency water. It will cost them less if you can save your crop and they won't have to pay for a complete loss. I hope something good happens for you soon, we all rely on you who feed us.
