  1. DO not bring it with you. It will be just fine by itself for three days.

Bringing it with you will cause it more harm than good.

  2. just the usual stuff u need day to day for him (viv light food heat etc)

the light can stay off the car he'll be fine for the few hours it takes to get u where your going

  3. You may just cause unneeded stress by moving your bearded dragon.

You could always feed him an extremely large amount of crickets (or whatever protein you offer 'im) and greens. Try leaving some canned or dried food in a dish. Try shutting him in the bathroom or a place your cats will be unable to go into. Remember; bearded dragons are cold blooded and therefore can go awhile without eating (even though many would not suggest this). And make sure to offer a sort of hide box than can protect him from the UV light and heat if he needs it. They regulate their own temperatures by hiding in cool areas.

If it's your only choice take his UVA/UVB light, heating light, enclosure, food, A Beardie can be okay without their light source for awhile. But depending on the drive length you may need to plug his UV light and heating light in for the duration of the trip. Make sure to be feeding and watering him as normal and you may not want to handle him too much unless he shows interest. Moving and traveling causes a lot of stress on a bearded dragon especially the elderly ones or juveniles. Think of it as right after you got him; for a week after you get your bearded dragon you don't handle them just to allow them to settle down.

  4. Just feed him a big meal the day of your trip and keep him in "night mode" when it comes to lighting so he stays calm but warm. Give him extra water or an extra water bowl just in case and he will be fine.  I do this with my 6 lizards when I will be away for up to 4 days and no one has had a problem. It would stress him out to take him with you. A short day trip is ok to take him on, but I don't think it's wise to take him on a trip like this.

  5. Just bring his food and his light or heating pad.
