What do i need for a peace bond

i need to get a peace bond for my little brothers dad who is a s*x offender. i know i have to get it at a jp but does anyone know the cost of this and if i can do this considering that my mother abondoned us and left me w poa of my brother im 21 and married but she was still married to the s*x offender just seperated.
