  1. From my experience...

Passport Photos - for enrolling/student card

    Passport/Driving licence

TV LICENCE IF YOU'RE BRINGING A TV!!

    Pillows

    Duvet

    Bed sheets

    Extension lead (plugs)

    Laundry basket/bag

    Laptop

Sleeping bag (for when people come to stay over)

    Washing power/tablets

TOILET ROLL! (trust me on this one)

    Atleast 3 Bath towels

    Tea towels

    Flannel/wash cloth

    Exam certificates

    Corkscrew

    Bottle opener

    Mugs

    Glasses

    Wine glasses

    Shot glasses

    Kettle

    Knives, forks and spoons

    Plates

    Bowls

    One-person casserole dish

    Small frying or omelette pan

1 small, 1 large saucepan with lids

    Tin opener

    Scissors

    Chopping knife

Chopping board - An extra chopping board if you are cutting meat: this way you avoid food poisoning!!!

    Cheese grater

    Wooden spoon

    Spatula

Diary/planner - to keep track of assignments

    Dictionary and thesaurus

A pad of lined paper - for making notes/doing drafts etc

    A4 folders

    Pens, pencils, paper, files, highlighters

    Scissors

    Sticky tape

    Stapler, hole punch

    Sticky labels

    Post-it notes

    Paper clips

White Tac - so it doesn’t mark the walls

    Stamps and envelopes

and don't forget the Ear Plugs!!!

Things that may or may not be supplied depending on your Halls:

    Iron

    Ironing board

    Vaccum cleaner

    Toaster

Don't be caught up on buying really expensive things, they are only going to be used to death/possibly broken - don't fret if you don't have everything, no doubt your flatmates will be more than willing to share things!

    Good luck!!!
