Your local airport will have atleast one flight school located in the general aviation area.  You will start with getting your private pilot license and then move on to get your commercial, instirment, and then to the airline transport pilot rating.

You mean with an airline company?

Many pilots are trained in the Air Force. So, lucky you, if you join Air Force ROTC in college, you can basically go to school for free (but you have a little commitment to the Air Force after you graduate. Go to an ROTC website for details).

You might also be interested to know that pilots are one of the best paid people in the United States.

I have heard that there also is a vision requirement... To be honest, I have heard that you need 20/20 vision, but it was an non-credible source. Check that out, too.

Do some shopping around in your area to find a school you like. There is no one best school, and if you ask me the aviation universities are not worth the extra expense because a pilot certificate is a pilot certificate, no matter where you get it. You can also finish in less time, and in less expense. I recommend getting your college degree in something other than aviation.

Vision

It is a myth that you need naturally perfect vision or you can't be a pilot.
