What do i need to become a kindergarten teacher in Florida?? please help........... please?

Ok i want to become a kindergarten teacher or a Pre K. i live in Oseola County in Florida. i heard that all i need is 60 credits or a CDA. Right now im in the process of starting school. im taking the Pre Major: Early Childhood Education. its a AA degree and ill have 60 credits. Is that all i need?? or did i get the wrong info??

Can i start working right after?

In order to become a kindergarten teacher you will have to a have graduated for a college or university. You will then have to then have to be certified in order to become a teacher. If you are about graduate from a community college you may and that is only a big if become a teacher aide. To become a teacher is a lofty ambition. The best of luck to you.

You really need to see the advisor at your school. They can give you exact information and direct you to get certification. I would call on Monday and make an appointment.
