What do i need to bring a U.S. citizen minor back into the US from CANADA?

i have my passport and his birth certificate (he is 7) do i need to bring anything else and if so how can i obtain it.. thank you

You'll need permission from both parents, if both are present, no problem, otherwise written permission from any not present parents is required.
