I'll answer your second question first - yes the police are very fussy about underage drinking.

How many of the essentials do you need to supply?  Camping essentials include insect repellent as well as an antihistamine ointment to treat bug bites, sunglasses, sun screen, bottled water, plenty of easy to manage food, a pillow, hand sanitizer, possibly a sleeping bag, towels, a thermal mug or cup, utensils for cooking and eating, a change of clothes, extra socks if the weather might be cool or if you might get wet, a cooler for drinks, a Coleman stove, flashlights, band-aids and a first aid kit.
