  1. You won't get tax unless you have a valid mot so you need mot first.

  2. You can get your car MOT'd up to a month before the current certificate expires.

  3. You will need to get your MOT first. Unless you still have some MOT left on the car, then you can't get it taxed.

If the MOT expires, even just one day after the tax disc, you can still get the car taxed on the first day of the new month.

If the MOT expired on the same day, or earlier, then you must get the MOT first.

  4. pre book an mot test, make sure you have a valid insurance cover, take the car to the test station, hopefully it will pass and then you can tax the vehicle

  5. You need a valid MOT for a tax disc, but if you still have some time on the old mot id get the tax first as its less hassle if it fails the MOT and then your tax goes out of date whilst waiting to do work.

  6. You need a current MOT to get a tax disc, so it's obviously MOT first.

  7. mot first as tax will only tell you the same.....so save yourself the hassle....mot a few days earlier then apply for tax

  8. hi you need mot first ,once booked you are covered to drive your vehicle to test garage and return home .you can then apply for tax.hope  this helps, dave.

  9. u need a mot to get tax lool

  10. get your mot early at least 7 days incase your car fail and then if it passes get your tax

  11. well to get a tax disc you need a current valid mot certificate unless your vehicle is less than four years old.
