What do i need to do the be an olympic soccer player?

Ok so i cant find this info anywhere else and i would like to know what i need to do. I'm 14 now and when the next olympics come around ill be 18 so is 18 to young and if its not what do i need to do?

  1. First of all, you need to play soccer in college and be good. If you're good the scouts will notice you and invite you to join their Olympic program.

  2. To compete on the olympic games you only have to be 16, or turn be turning 16 the year the olympics are held, so 18 is not too young. You have tot rain hard, and practice like you would not believe over the next 4 years. Every time you choose not to practice, someone out there is, and they're getting better than you. They can only pick 11 players to start on the field to represent their country, and if you want to better your odds at being chosen you have to work hard, and have both the will power and determination to succeed. If you truly have the skills to compete, you must get yourself noticed by playing in the highest level of competitive soccer that you can, and eventually if you are good enough you will be scouted and asked to join you country's olympic program.

  3. If your not in the olympic program by 14 you have no shot at playing in the olympics
