  1. nope a long as you  are a graduate of high school or college and has a skill in geometry

  2. Man you just need the thing is the MONEY.if you have a lot of mony you can take admission in any flying school,

There You will first take SPL-->CPL--> then ATPL.

After that you can apply in any airline that you want.

this will take about 1.5 to 2 years depending on you.

one more way is to try for caddet pilot in the air airline of your national country if thy will select you then the will make you the pilot (by investing on you) but then you have to work for that airline for 7 years must.

IM also doing this in P.I.A

    So GoodLuck

  3. money money money, dats all dey care abou,u need to get to a school and learn pay for a place in a school,if u dotn have da money well u cant fly, well u can but u will be broke, but wen u start making da bigg money ,ur talking bou 125k a year it well worth it

  4. Depends on your country of residence.  IN GENERAL, military crews are picked up faster due to more Pilot-in-Command and multiengine jet time.  (Even fighter guys, well Raptor and Eagle drivers, have multiengine jet time.)

But ultimately it's up to you.

  5. Are you looking to fly for fun, or for a career?

For Fun, you have a couple of options.

Sport Pilot- You just have to go take some lessons and take a couple of tests. You can get in your license in 30+ hours and you can fly airplanes like piper cubs that have two seats and weigh less than 1260 lbs (I think).

Private Pilot- Is similar to sport but it takes 50-60 hours and you have to have a Physical every couple of years. But the benefit is that your training is more thorough and you are not limited to any airplane size (if it's more than 12,500 lbs, you have to get a type rating)

Under Private, there is single engine and multiengine. And there is land plane and sea plane.

If you are thinking about flying professionally for the airlines. The process goes like this

    Private license

    Intrument Rating

    Commercial License

    Multiengine Commercial

    Flight instructor

    Flight instructor Instrument

    Flight Instructor Multiengine

Build time until you find a small regional airline to hire you.

Work up the Ladder and Get your Airline Transport License

It helps to get a bachelor's degree in aviation early on.

It used to be that airline pilots all came from the military, but it's not true anymore. In fact, if you join the airforce, there is no guarantee that you will get to fly.

But the other posts here have a point. Each stage costs money, at least until you get to commercial or flight instructor. It will pay off in the long run, but plan on working hard and being broke for a few years.

  6. no but if you do not have the money to go to school to become a pilot i would suggest go to the air force
