  1. Well if you are an adult actor, agents would want to come and see you in a play before they would consider you.

If I was you I would look through two useful books called

    Contacts and the Actors Guide

These list all the agents in there, including websites etc. I would then give them a call and ask what you would need to do to join their books.

Also you will need decent headshots, so find a good photographer. These headshots should be black and white and size 10"8. Also check out www.spotlight.com you will loads of great advise on there and try giving an agency called Kidz Talk a call.

    Hope that helps

Oh and it doesn't matter how long you have been at drama club, just as ong as you are experienced and happy in front of cameras of large  amount of people.

  2. First of all, if you do theater stuff, thats really hard, a year and a half is nowhere near enough, there are people who have done it for over 10 years and still have a hard time getting parts. If you want to do movies you got to be really talented, its kind of hard when your acting around professionals, do small films until you think your absolutley ready. As for the agent move to either NYC or LA and you'll have no problem. I've been doing this stuff for many years and i've been in movies and broadway and its a struggle, here are some of my resumes if they help.

  3. Well agents do look for people who have experience, but a lot of times they're looking at your talent. Just keep perfecting your talent, and hopefully someone will pick you up!

Be careful though, there are a lot of scammers out there! Remember, you pay agents AFTER your first pay check! (and they only get 10%)

  4. You should check out the web site www.commercialactorslink.com This casting director is really nice and does career coaching for actors in person and over the phone or web cam. His name is Stuart Stone  I hope this helps you.
