  1. Start talking to admissions offices at various universities. Make sure you get the equivalent of a high school diploma, and take the ACT and SAT next year. If you're concerned you aren't prepared for them, take prep classes at a high school or community college. Kaplan also offers online prep classes.

If you can, try taking some classes at a community college. These can be basic math classes or english composition classes that will be required at any university anyway. These credits can transfer in and help you get further along in your college education.

    Good luck!

  2. Well in general I'd talk your parents about possibly going to school because of the extra curricular activities and academic opportunities.

However if that's not a possibility that's okay. You can get involved in your community by volunteering especially at schools. You can also get a part time job. I suggest these options because along with your test scores and academic performance colleges will look at your other activities to see how well rounded you are. Academics are extremely important, but getting involved in other things will reflect well on you as well.

  3. A good GPA, some volunteer experience, and a knowledge of current events. Read the internet news headlines every day.  Go to a university you are interested in and start talking to them in the admissions office now.

  4. I wouldn't be too sure about not having a good education.  Studies of home schooled students show they are on the average at least one or two years ahead of those that were not home schooled.  My advice is to do some subjects from a university that offers both high school and college level courses eg

You can also enroll in courses at your local CC.

By doing college level courses now you will be much better prepared for college than your average HS graduate.  Get enough college level credit and you will be enrolled as a sophomore and probably wont have  to worry about SATs etc.  You will be treated as a transfer student.  Great way to save money as well.

    Thanks

  5. talk to a counsuler from our high school he will point out a good curriculum to prepare you for college. he will also recommend you take an act. After all that, you just start looking. 10th grade is a good time to begin thinking about college, good job.
