What do i need to do to start my own "YouTube"?

I want to start my own website, similar principles and platform like Youtube but with specific contents (no..not p**n).

What do i need to understand, learn and develop to do this?

Also what domain packages should i get and how to i start this project up?

I think you have to get a web hosting plan

then Upload video in youtube

I think you should learn HTML stuff. if you want to start a site.  I know YAHOO offers a great domain service, but of course you have to pay for it. I think its pricey, but oh well, if thats what you want....
