What do i need to go to mexico?

im 16 years old and im traveling with my cousin who is 18. we are flying there. do i need a letter signed by both my parents giving me permission to leave the country? what if i only live with my mother. my parents are still married but seperated and i have absolutely no contact with my father.

  1. No you wont needed.

    If you live with your mom, she can write you a letter and Notarize it, just in case. But You can come into Mexico and Go back

    with your Passport and if your Brother is with you, everything

    is gonna be good.


  2. You will need both of your parent's signatures and you will need the letter signed and stamped by a notary public also.

  4. last year i went to mexico and i was 17, i went with my older sister and she was 21.

    and we thought we needed one but we never did get one of those letter thingys

    but we went, and they didnt as k me for anything!

    but  i left from the tijuana airport.

    i didnt need anything

    if youre leaving from the states, you definitely need your passport, but i dont think you need one of those letter thingys

    i think its just who ever is inchrage of yu

    when i went my dad had to go to some guyy && sign thee letter cuzz i was goin with my mom

    so i guess it has to be an official document

    && dont forget yur passport
