What do i need to include in a work experience letter?

I want to go and work for the local newspaper for my work experience, i need to write a letter to apply but i don't know what to include.

Why not ask the careers teacher at your school, that is what they are there for.

you can say as much as u like if its ur first time at work ex then it would be better to ring them or face to face but anyway here is alit just of wat i wrote in one of mine obs ur put ur information into it lol hope it helps!

Dear Mrs Rush

My name is Julie Anne Williams, and am currently in sixth year. Studying the two-year course on Health and Social Care, ICT and Application of number to become a nursery assistant. In January I previously came to you for my work experience in 5th year. As part of learning for life and work coursework I have been asked to write another letter to an employer that works in the business that I would like to be working in some day so I choose to write to you.  I was hoping I could join you again for another week of work experience if possible. Thank-you for your time I hope to hear from you soon…………………
