What do i need to know about flying with toddlers for the first time?

i will be flying from vegas to texas this saturday with my 5 year old son, 2 year son, and 2 year old niece, along with my dad. it's my first time flying as well as all the kids. what can i take on board to keep them entertained? can i take, snacks, juice, sippy cups, sandwiches, ect. what kind of activities should i take? should i take their booster seats and umbrella strollers? i am clueless and need all the help i can get. please send me any information or links to websites!! thank you!!!

  1. As the other two suggested. Also if you can keep them not to cry on the plane or kick the back of the seat then other passengers would be greatly appreciated.


  2. Things to draw with are good.  Buy them some new toys they've never seen, so they'll keep their interest.

    You can bring containers for drinks, but you should probably just wait to be provided drinks on the plane.  Liquids can be tough to get through security.

    Booster seats will be good if the kids have their own seats on the plane.  I would pass on the strollers, personally.  With kids you'll be wanting to arrive plenty early so you'll have time to rest if little feet get tired.  There will be waiting around, but seats should be available so it won't be a problem.

    Vegas to Texas doesn't sound like a very long flight, so I think you'll be just fine!

  3. Take a few toys but as far as the juice goes make sure its colored. If its clear you wont be allowed to take it. If the kids have there own seats. Take the booster seats. I would give them something for air sickness,
